Abstract

Different choices of dynamical variables lead to apparently different forms of wave functions and their evolutions. However, their physical content is the same. In the case of coherent states, this can be seen through canonical transformations in quantum phase space. The preceding Comment by Maamache, Provost, and Vall\'ee is analyzed from this viewpoint. It is shown that the total phase derived from their wave function is precisely equal to the phase obtained in the way once examined by the author.
