Abstract

Abstract A design technique using only Bode plots and Root loci is proposed for two-by-two systems. Classical specifications are used, and bandwidth design of multivariable systems is introduced. This also suggests the use of input filters to reduce interaction. Diagonal loop compensators are designed independently, but Rosenbrock's conditions for diagonal dominance need not be satisfied.
