Abstract

We present a protocol for probabilistic remote preparation of the two-atom maximally entangled state using a four-atom GHZ entangled state as the quantum channel. The two-atom maximally entangled state can be successfully prepared between two distant parties with a success probability of 100%. The successful total probability and classical communication cost are calculated.
