Abstract

The current study emphasizes the importance of the role of NGOs in developing the skills of women leaders in rural and urban areas, especially in the light of the current circumstances. Some of the variables that show the low level of women's capacities in urban and rural areas and the role played by NGOs are not remarkable. The current study is based on the recognition that there are indications of the low level of the services of NGOs, and it is necessary to contribute to enhancing their role in building the capacities of women in urban and rural areas, since women are not only in need of services but also in preparation and enabling them to do all In spite of the increase in the number of civil associations in the number of 47.000 associations in 2017, this number is at the expense of qualitative development and the decline of NGOs, specifically in the area of empowering women to raise their leadership abilities through developing their skills. Descriptive study through the social survey and using the case study of the Cultural Wedet Society for Human Development using a sample of the study society. The sample was selected for study from rural and urban areas in order to identify the reality of Egyptian women in NGOs and the role of associations in developing women leaders' The study recommends the importance of increasing awareness in the society, including the necessary amendments in the legislation governing the associations or legislation governing the fields and areas of work of associations and the abolition of administrative, financial and security restrictions imposed on NGOs and the introduction of positive points And the negative in the new law, the development of programs and programs that the association deals with development projects in favor of the development of women leaders in rural and urban, and works to follow the method of participation in the levels of decision-making and development efforts and follow-up.
