Abstract

ABSTRACT This paper will briefly discuss the results of a citation analysis of freshman engineering bibliographies conducted at Wichita State University. The results of that study were then used by the engineering librarian to assess the effectiveness of the bibliographic instruction given to the students. Changes were made in the content and method of instruction based on the results. Implications for future assessment are given.
