Abstract
The structure of cis-bis(μ-2,6,7-trithia-1,3,4,5-tetraphosphabicyclo[2.2.1]heptanato)-1κP 3 , 1:2κ 2 P 5 ; 2κP 3 , 1:2κ 2 p 5 -bis[carbonylchloro(triphenylphosphine)iridium] toluene solvate, cis-[IrCl(CO)(PPh 3 )(μ-P 4 S 3 )] 2. 2CH 3 C 6 H 5 , has been determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. Each P 4 S 3 ligand is bidentate, binding to the two Ir centers through oxidative addition and the cleavage of a basal P-P bond
