Abstract

In this work, applications of current inverting metamutator (CIM) are explored in fractional domain for the very first time. The realization of a current-mode universal fractional-order filter (FOF) and a sinusoidal fractional-order oscillator (FOO) circuit utilizing one CIM block is presented. The functionality of the proposed structures are verified through SPICE simulations using 180nm CMOS technology parameters. Stability analysis has been presented for the proposed circuits. Robustness of the proposed circuits is verified through sensitivity, Monte-Carlo and mismatch analysis.
