Abstract
El presente trabajo, toma como referencia fundamental el cumplimiento deun siglo desde la aparición del texto freudiano “Más allá del principio del placer” dondehace su aparición la pulsión de muerte como concepto fundamental, recuerda tambiénque hace cien años el mundo atravesaba también una pandemia mortífera, y proponela idea de que el concepto de Pulsión de muerte en Freud es una respuesta a semejanteacontecimiento.Sitúa también al psicoanálisis como respuesta posible a traumas de dimensiones planetarias.
