Abstract
It is unclear whether chrysophanol affects liver fibrosis via the regulation of ADAM17, a multifaceted enzyme involved in immune regulation, central nervous system function, and cancer development. This article underscores that the chrysophanol treatment reduced collagen deposition in thioacetamide-induced liver fibrosis mice while downregulating ADAM17.
