Abstract

AbstractThe Christian discussion about time is generally carried out under the category of history and from the perspective of the gospel of Jesus Christ, which divides all of history into the periods “before Christ” (bc) and “after Christ” (ad). Time is seen as the fluctuation of history, in contrast to the eternity of God, and as the framework that makes possible the revelation of God in creation. Birth, life, and death are the constituents of the time of the individual, while the whole of creation moves toward the consummation of time at the end of history, when time is subsumed into eternity.
