Abstract

Chronic sialadenitis of the parotid gland (CSPG) is one of the major disorders that can cause salivary hypofunction. Diagnosis of CSPG has varied and has lacked well-defined terminology. We present a patient of 26-year-old Japanese female with CSPG concomitant with chronic hepatitis who presented with unilateral swelling of preauricular region without any oral nor ocular sicca symptoms. This is the first report of CSPG with chronic hepatitis.
