Abstract

To the Editor: Chronic prurigo is a highly pruritic condition with ethnic differences in clinical presentation and associations.1 It adversely affects the quality of life of patients. Neuronal plasticity is one of its consistent features.2 It has been suggested that underlying neuropathy may play a role in a subgroup of patients.3 This study was conducted to observe clinical and neurophysiologic attributes of chronic prurigo. The study included 64 consecutive patients from a western province of India and was conducted during 1.5 years after approval from the institutional review board.
