Shortness of breath and a cough that produces phlegm are the prominent symptoms. Usually, it gets worse with time. It will eventually be challenging to carry objects or climb stairs. COPD is the primary diagnosis for chronic bronchitis. The most frequent cause of COPD is tobacco use, with other variables such as air pollution and genetics having a lesser impact.
