Abstract

Chromosome image processing is the basis of chromosome karyotype analysis. Compared with traditional images, chromosome images are more prone to noise, which will interfere with the subsequent operation of the image. To improve the quality of chromosome images, an adaptive wavelet threshold image denoising method was proposed. By selecting the threshold value and improving the threshold function, the method has certain adaptability and a good denoising effect. Experiments on different denoising methods show that this method has better performance in processing chromosomal image noise.
