Abstract

Oocyte in vitro maturation (IVM) is a relatively new technique that may offer some advantages to selected patients. Up to date, pregnancy and implantation rates are significantly lower in IVM when compared to gonadotropin stimulated IVF/ICSI protocols. Apart from an inadequate endometrial receptivity, a cause that may explain these poor results could be an increase in aneuploidy rate in embryos obtained after IVM cycles. The aim of this study was to determine the aneuplody rate in embryos obtained after IVM in young women.
