Abstract

The economical achievement of premium mechanical properties for PM parts has been pursued over a number of years and a plethora of materials and process studies on sinter-hardening have already been launched. So it was not surprising that the sinter-hardening behaviour of ferrous PM materials was one of the major themes at the Las Vegas conference, writes Joe Capus.
