Abstract

The possibilities for the separation of a mixture of aliphatic C 1C 18 alkyl esters of acrylic and methacrylic acids have been studied on glass capillary columns with non-polar (OV-101 and SE-54) and polar (SP-1000) phases under temperature-programmed conditions. The electron impact and methane and isobutane chemical ionization mass spectra of 38 acrylate and methacrylate monomers are reported and their use for identification purposes is discussed.
