Abstract

AbstractUsing liquid chromatography at the critical point of adsorption the molar mass and the polydispersity of the individual blocks in block copolymers of decyl and methyl methacrylate are determined. In addition, the total molar mass and the chemical composition of the block copolymers are calculated and compared to data from conventional size exclusion chromatography (SEC) and SEC with coupled density‐refractive index detection. The agreement of the data obtained by the different methods is found to be very good.
