Abstract

A 57-year-old Asian man presented with gradual vision loss in his left eye (LE). His corrected visual acuities were 6/6, N6 in the right eye and 6/9(P), N8 in LE. Fundus examination revealed a choroidal lesion with subretinal fluid in LE. Further evaluations revealed non-small cell lung carcinoma (NSCLC) with EGFR mutations and choroidal metastasis (CM). Within 3 weeks, LE vision dropped to counting fingers. He was then recruited into a clinical trial for a new drug dacomitinib. His vision improved to 6/6 in LE during the trial. In summary, we present a case of NSCLC with complete regression of CM with dacomitinib.
