Abstract

Chondroid syringoma is a rare benign mixed skin tumour. Though head and neck region is commonly involved, we report a rare case of a 55-year-old female who presented with a slow growing, painless swelling over the left upper eyelid and history of surgical excision of 2 such swellings in the arm 3 years back. FNAC and excision biopsy revealed Chondroid syringoma. Considering the chances of malignant transformation and recurrence, chondroid syringoma should always be a differential diagnosis in eyelid masses and total excision with long term follow-up should be done.
