Cholestasis incidence in newborns with gastroschisis using different lipid emulsions in parenteral nutrition

Abstract

Rationale: Gastroschisis are congenital defects of the abdominal wall and required prolonged parenteral nutrition. Difficulty in initiating enteral diets,infections,use of PN and lipid emulsion contribute to the incidence of cholestasis.
