Abstract

Beta-blockers (BB) and angiotensin-converting-enzyme (ACE) inhibitors are commonly used in the treatment of heart failure. It has been suggested that these medications may also aggravate anaphylactic reactions. Bee and Vespula stings are a common cause of adult anaphylaxis and venom immunotherapy (VIT) is utilized in the management of these severe allergies. In this study, we evaluated the relationship between VIT failure and the use of BBs and ACE inhibitors.
