Abstract
The optimum conditions for the successful use of chlorpremazine hydrochloride as redox indicator in the cerimetric titrn. of Fe(II), Mo(V), hydroquinone, and ascorbic acid in H2SO4, HCl, and HOAc were detd. The indicator gives sharp reversible color change at the equivalence point. Its formal redox and transitional potentials were detd. Its sensitivity towards various oxidizing agents is reported. It has certain advantages over the existing redox indicators in cerimetry. [on SciFinder(R)]
