Abstract
CPla, LHCP' , LHCP2 and LHCF has 25% of its total chlorophyll associated with CPa. The higher oligomeric forms, CPla and LHCP’ , more closely resemble the in vivo state than the monomers. Carotenoids are integral components of all 6 complexes; it is likely that all of the photosynthetic pigments of higher plants are complexed to protein.
