Abstract
Mechanisms of action of natural disease resistance inducer chitosan based on the increase of lignin biosynthesis and plant cell wall lignification, and on the effect upon biosynthesis of enzymes associated with the resistance development were studied. Data concerning chitosan effectiveness against the main diseases of wheat, potato, cucumber, tomato, carrot, garden radish are obtained.
