Abstract

Correlations were established between the enantioselectivity of copper, nickel, and cobalt catalysts modified by chiral amino acids and the dichroic absorption and strength of the complexes which characterize the chirodiastaltic interactions in the heteroligand complexes which are models for the intermediates in asymmetric hydrogenation.
