AbstractWe consider the Γ‐limit, as the number of particles diverges, of the energy per particle of a one‐dimensional ferromagnetic/anti‐ferromag frustrated S1 (or S2) spin chain close to the helimagnet/ferromagnet transition point discussing the emergence of chirality transitions.
