Abstract

Chirality transfer arises when a new stereogenic element is introduced in the target molecule while the original chirality is lost. Recent advances of this strategy in the assembly of complex chiral centers and to facilitate the interconversion of chirality elements illustrate its wide applications in asymmetric total syntheses of bioactive molecules.
