Abstract

Chiral field algebra Lagrangians are constructed in SU (3) × SU (3) consistent with the assumption that chiral symmetry breaking transforms as the (3,3 ∗) ⊕ (3 ∗,3) representation of SU(3) × SU(3). Alternative models are constructed based on stated assumptions and consequences are obtained for two point functions (in the K ∗ and ϱ directions). The magnitude of symmetry breaking is related to the status of K A(1 +) and ϰ(0 +) mesons. The techniques are useful for the study of (3,3 ∗) ⊕ (3 ∗,3) symmetry breaking in higher point functions within the framework of chiral dynamics.
