Abstract

The aim of this review is to supply an overview of diverse dialkyl zinc pro-chiral aldehydes addition reactions. One way of conducted asymmetric reactions is to use chiral catalyst. Therefore, the new chiral ligands are attracted considerable attention in the organic chemistry. Carbon-carbon bond formation reactions are an active research topic. The dialkyl zinc pro-chiral aldehydes addition reaction is one of these popular reactions. Also, the chiral amino alcohol molecules are important substrates in the drug synthesis. These chiral ligands can prepare from easily accessible starting materials by a simple synthetic way for practical applications. This review is presented the important catalyst reactions to addition dialkyl zinc to aldehydes.
