AbstractA chiral bicyclic guanidine was developed as a versatile Brønsted base catalyst for the enantioselective Michael reactions of dithiomalonates and β‐keto thioesters using a range of acceptors including maleimides, cyclic enones, furanone and acyclic 1,4‐dicarbonylbutenes.
