Abstract
This chapter focuses on the China–Africa cooperation in terms of poverty reduction. It introduces the concepts of poverty reduction in China’s Africa policy from the aspects of assistance, economic growth and development, and then explores the development and changes in the China–Africa cooperation model on the poverty reduction. It also points out the focuses of deepening China–Africa poverty reduction cooperation and concludes that poverty reduction cooperation will boost African development, consolidate the foundation of China–Africa relations, and optimize public opinion of China–Africa cooperation. Down-to-earth projects that benefit people’s livelihoods will bring the people of China and Africa closer to each other, as well as help cement the foundation of China–Africa friendship.
