In 2021-2023 China subsequently launched 3 important international initiatives – Global Development initiative (2021), Global Security Initiative (2022) and Global Civilization Initiative (2023). The main objective of those initiatives is to promote Chinese narrative of general principles and values in international relations, to create the new formats and institutions in them and to reinforce the old ones, harmonic to China’s interests, to displace the values and narratives of the US backed “rules based order”. While launching those initiatives China present itself as an ideological competitor equal to the US. The three Chinese initiatives are tightly intertwined with China’s internal dynamics. Three initiatives are modifying and making adjustments to the China’s previous BRI initiative (2013) , addressing criticism against it.
