Abstract
Haun Saussy is Bird White Housum Professor of Comparative Literature and of East Asian Languages and Literatures at Yale University. His most recent book is the edited collection Comparative Literature in an Age of Globalization (2006). Among his forthcoming projects are a critical edition of the Ernest Fenollosa - Ezra Pound essay “The Chinese Written Character as a Medium for Poetry” and a translation of Jean Métellus's Au pipirite chantant.
