Abstract

The improvement in overall survival in children with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) over the last 5 decades has been considerable, with around 90% now surviving long term. Developing countries still suffering from infectious complications as added risk factor against better survival rate even during least risky maintenance phase of treatment.
