Abstract

Abstract Advancements in technology and the advent of the internet have resulted in a recent proliferation of child pornography (CP) offending. This growth in CP has captured the attention of law enforcement, clinicians, and researchers. This entry focuses on some of the key issues surrounding CP offending, including its conceptualization, etiology, offender characteristics, associated behaviors, prognosis, and treatment.
