Abstract
An analytic study reviews on the chickenegg question, the causality relationship of financial development and economic growth in the particular case of Chinese economy. The research reviews the past theoretical studies on the causality relationship of financial development and economic growth, and empirical studies on the Chinese economic growth pattern in respect to financial industry. The research then further presents recent data to empirically reanalyze the question. The study sheds new lights into previously ignored bond market and mistaken public enterprise investment return
