Abstract A new distribution map is provided for Cherry necrotic rusty mottle virus (Flexiviridae: possible Foveavirus). The hosts include sweet cherry ( Prunus avium ), apricot ( P. armeniaca ) and black cherry ( P. serotina ). Information is given on the geographical distribution in Europe (Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Serbia, Switzerland, UK, England, Wales), Asia (Israel, Japan, Honshu), North America (Canada, British Columbia, USA, California, Montana, Utah), South America, (Chile) and Oceania (New Zealand).
