Why Not Both?The Rock Creek Advanced Wastewater Treatment Facility (AWTF) near Portland, Oregon has traditionally relied on a chemical approach for phosphorus removal and dosed alum at multiple locations to meet a 0.1 mg/L total-phosphorus limit.
