Abstract

Hierarchical and non hierarchical clustering is applied to study the structure of the analytical data obtained from particulate matter collection from five sampling stations around lignite power plants near to the city of Kozani, Greece. Both sampling stations and polluting trace metals were treated as objects of classification and conclusions on the sampling location, sampling statim homogeneity and polluting species combination are presented.
