“JOHN MURRAY” Expeditions to Lakes Tanganyika and Nyasa have recently been undertaken in order to discover the chemical and hydrographical conditions obtaining in deep tropical lakes, and in the hope of explaining the faunal peculiarities of Lake Tanganyika.
