Abstract

AbstractThe reaction of UO2(NO3)2, H3PO3, K2(EDTA), H2O2, and Et4NOH in aqueous solution (room temperature, pH 6, 7 d) affords crystals of K14.73 [(UO2)22(O2)15 (HPO3)20(H2O)10] ·38H2O (I) and K12 [(UO2)14(O2)10 (HPO3)12(H2O)6] ·22H2O (II) in yields of 10 and 35%, respectively.
