Abstract

AbstractReaction of tetrahydropyran, tetrahydrofuran, and oxetanes with in situ prepared benzyne [obtained from (I) and CsF] in the presence of chloroform (III) affords the corresponding ω‐trichlorinated alkyl phenyl ethers in moderate to good yields.
