Abstract
AbstractPhotoemission experiments on model catalysts consisting of thin TiO2 oxides grown from a Ti(0O01) single crystal on which small quantities of Pt are deposited in a UHV envrionment show that annealing to 500°C in a vacuum causes reduction of the oxide film and a change in the electronic structure of the Pt atoms.
