AbstractDie Umsetzung von Lithium‐ oder Natriummethylat mit einem Moläquivalent Silbernitrat, ‐perchlorat oder ‐tosylat führt in wasserfreiem Methanol bei 25°C zu einem extrem instabilen Produkt, vermutlich Silbermethylat, welches sich rasch zu metallischem Silber und nicht identifizierten Oxidationsprodukten zersetzt.
