Abstract

AbstractA series of Au/N binary cluster cations, [AuN4]+, [AunN2n+1]+ (n = 2—4), and [Au3N6]+ are obtained by reactive collision of N2 with laser‐vaporized gold clusters and characterized by mass spectrometry and DFT calculations at the B3LYP/DZP and B3LYP/TZP levels of theory.
