AbstractBa4Na2Zn4 (B3O6)2(B12O24) is prepared by solid state reaction of a mixture of Na2CO3, BaCO3, ZnO, H3BO3, and Na2B4O7 in a molar ratio of 1:4:6:18:2 (Pt crucible, 750 °C, 28 d).
