Abstract
Thermal reaction of 1,2,3,4-tetrathia-5-germacyclopentane 1 with diphenyldiazomethane gave novel heterocycles, 1,3,4,5-tetrathia-2-germacyclohexane 3a, 1,2,4,5-tetrathia-3-germacyclohexane 3b, and 1,3,4-trithia-2-germacyclopentane 4, among which the molecular structure of 3a was determined by X-ray crystallographic analysis. X-Ray structure analysis of 3a is also described.
