AbstractDas Titelpeptid (IIIb), eine weitere (dritte) melanotrope Sequenz im N‐terminalen Teil der ACTH‐ bzw. β‐LPH‐ Vorstufe Pro‐opiocortin, wird durch Kondensation der nach konventionellen Methoden aufgebauten Fragmente (I) und (II) [Azidmethode; ‐ (IIIa)] und nachfolgende Schutzgruppenabspaltung synthetisiert.
