AbstractLnBr[MoO4] (Ln: Pr, Nd, Sm, Gd—Lu) are prepared by solid state reaction of LnBr3, Ln2O3, and MoO3 in the molar ratio of 1:1:3 (evacuated silica ampoules, 820 °C, 7 d).
